I am Ramkumar Ghale, but most people simply call me Ram. I am the founder and director of Himalayan Friendly, a trekking and tour company based in the heart of Nepal. First and foremost, I want to thank you for considering us to be a part of your Himalayan journey.

My journey in the trekking world began over a decade ago, shortly after I obtained my official trekking guide license in 2012. From the moment I led my first group into the mountains, I knew this was more than just a profession—it was a calling. After several years of working as an independent guide and building deep connections with travelers from all around the world, I took a leap of faith and founded Himalayan Friendly in 2018.

The vision behind Himalayan Friendly is simple: to offer genuine, safe, and personalized trekking experiences in Nepal’s breathtaking Himalayas. I have personally guided many groups across the country’s iconic trails—from the Annapurna and Everest regions to the more remote and culturally rich areas like Mustang and Manaslu. These journeys have not only allowed me to explore the natural beauty of my homeland but also to understand the diverse needs and expectations of travelers from all walks of life.

What sets Himalayan Friendly apart is the personal attention and care we give to every guest. When you trek with us, you are not just signing up for a trip—you are becoming part of our extended family. I personally oversee every itinerary, every permit, and every logistic detail to ensure your experience is smooth, memorable, and meaningful.
