Annapurna Base Camp Trek 7 days are Nepal’s most popular trekking route. In many favors, the Annapurna Region is Nepal’s supreme and most widely held trekking. It offers a great variety of beautiful landscapes, nature, and culture in the central mountains of Nepal. The trekking trials are well sustained, and food and lodging are guaranteed during Trekking. The region has a good infrastructure to support the many trekkers that come through this area. Ghandruk is the starting point of this 7 days trek. Annapurna Base Camp Trek brings with it the chance to observe the grand views of Annapurna Mountain, Machhapuchre Mountain, Mount Dhaulagiri, and many other peaks.

Annapurna base camp trek is the most popular hiking route in the Annapurna region for those with limited days or energy. Himalayan Friendly has designed an alternate trekking itinerary for this trip.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek 7 Days

This trekking can be completed in 7 days from Pokhara to Pokhara. The Annapurna Base Camp Trek 7-day itinerary is designed in a way so that even people with limited time schedules. Beginning from your arrival in Kathmandu, we take 30 30-minute flight to Pokhara the next day and then drive to Naya Pul from where our trekking begins. We trek to Ghandruk, a beautiful village mostly inhabited by Gurungs. The third day is scheduled for us to reach Chhomrong, a picturesque village located on the lap of the great Annapurna massif. On our way to reach Chhomrong, you get to enjoy a spectacular view of snow-capped peaks. From Chhomrong, we cross the bridge above Chhomrong River and pass through a beautiful forest to reach Bamboo.

Then we pass through a bamboo forest and trek to reach Deurali and finally to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp. You get to explore two base camps with this single trek. Reaching the base camp of Annapurna after trekking is like getting a prize after hard work. The scenery there resembles heaven and is something to die for. The thought emerges in your heart that you would not go anywhere from there if it were not about your friends and family. You get to live the moment that you have never lived before. For our return, we trek the usual route back to Naya Pul. From there, we drive back to Pokhara and then fly back to Kathmandu. Then, you can leave us for your home or onward destination taking sweet memories of trekking with you forever.

Itinerary

Day 1: Pokhara to Chomrung via Jhinudada [+]

If you are in Kathmandu, you can take an early flight or drive to Pokhara. Our guide will pick you up here and we will trek to Ghandruk for 3 hours. Half of the trail is a road while the other half is a walking route. On a clear day, you see a nice view of Annapurna South, Himchuli, Annapurna III, Machhapuchhre, etc. In the afternoon, you will explore Ghandruk village and Gurung Museum. Then, you will continue trekking to Chomrong and stay overnight.

Day 2: Chomrung to Dhovan [+]

From Chomrung, you will trek down to the river and climb upward to Sinuwa. If the weather remains clear, you will have a fantastic view of the mountains and the surrounding area. The trail offers uphill and jungle walks with varying flora and fauna.

Day 3: Dhovan to Deurali [+]

We will wake up early morning and observe the greatest view of mountains and the dews-formed environment. After having a light breakfast, we will start the trek to Deurali (3,200m) which is 6 to 7 hours uphill and jungle walks. We will observe various flora and fauna on the way passing through Bamboo, Dovan, and Himalaya

Day 4: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp via Machhapuchhre Base Camp [+]

Today is the most awaited day of our trek. We will reach Annapurna Base Camp after 5-6 hours of walking. It is located at an altitude of 4,130 meters, which is the highest altitude during our trek. Then, we will descend to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700 meters). On the way, we can have 360-degree majestic view of mountains like Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna South, Annapurna III, Himchuli, Gandharva Chuli, Glacier Dom, Gangapurna, and many more. We will have the best sunset view ever if the weather is in our favor.

Day 5: Annapurna Base Camp to Himalaya [+]

We will have a pleasing Himalayan vista of Annapurna I, Tent Peak, Annapurna South, Barahi Shikhar, Himchuli, and Gandharvachuli in the early morning along with beautiful sunrise in the Himalayas. Then we will trek for 6-7 hours to Bamboo (2,340m) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp.

Day 6: Himalaya to Jhinu Dada [+]

We will trek from Himalaya to Jhinu Dada via Dovan and Bamboo for 6-7 hours. Jhinu is located at an altitude of 1,690m from sea level. On the way, you will enjoy a natural hot spring.

Day 7: Jhinu Dada to Syaule Bazzar and Drive to Pokhara [+]

On this day, we will trek from Jhinu to Syaule Bazar for 4 hours. From here, we will drive to Pokhara.

Major Attractions: Pokhara sightseeing
